# Delete Your Account

> Delete your quso.ai account from Settings → Account or the mobile Profile page. It is permanent, cancels your subscription and deletes workspaces you own.

You can permanently delete your quso.ai account yourself, on desktop from **Settings → Account** or on your phone from the **Profile** page. Deleting your account removes all your data, cancels your subscription immediately and cannot be undone.

## What happens when you delete your account

* All your data is deleted: projects, clips, downloads and brand assets.
* Your **subscription is cancelled immediately**.
* You are **removed from every workspace** where you are a member.
* Any **workspace you own is deleted**, and its members lose access to it.
* You **can't reactivate** the account within 28 days of deleting it.

> Deleting your account is irreversible. Download any clips you want to keep first.

## How to delete your account

### On desktop

1. Go to **Settings → Account**.
2. Click **Delete account**.
3. Type **Delete** in the box, tick the box to confirm you understand your data will be lost, and confirm.

### On your phone

1. Open the **Profile** page.
2. Tap **Delete account** and confirm in the same way.

> If your subscription is on quso.ai's older billing system, the app asks you to contact support first. Email [help@quso.ai](mailto:help@quso.ai) to cancel that subscription, then delete your account.

> [accordion] I'm a team member. Does deleting my account delete the team's work?

> No. A member is only removed from the workspace. The workspace and its subscription belong to the owner. If you are the owner, your workspace is deleted.
